Arthroscopic surgery is a minimal invasive orthopedic procedure used to diagnose and treat joint issues. This involves the use of a narrow scope also known as “arthroscope” and is used a specialized tool to access the joint through a small “keyhole” incision.

Surgical procedures on the hand are designed to repair tendons and alleviate the harmful effects of carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger finger, tendonitis. Hand surgery can also serve to correct a traumatic injury.

With this treatment, our goal is to restore alignment, promote bone healing, and get our patients to be able to function as soon as possible to prevent any stiffness and any wasting of muscle. These treatments would include casting, splinting and any x-rays.

Total joint surgery is a procedure designed to replace an arthritic or damaged joint with a metal, plastic or a ceramic device.

Joint injections are used for the treatment of inflammatory joint conditions, such as rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, gout, tendinitis, bursitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, and sometimes osteoarthritis. Injection sites usually are in the knee, shoulder, hip, wrist, finger, elbows and ankles.

Sports medicine rehabilitation focuses on healing our patients, so that they can return to everyday activities as well as instructing our patients on how to prevent re-injuring the area. Physical therapy is frequently utilized to improve a pre- or post-surgical outcome. Choosing Physical therapy is a decision left completely to our patients.
